The air compressor is to provide air source power. It is the main body of the electromechanical air source device, the core equipment of the pneumatic system. It is the device that converts the mechanical energy of the prime mover (usually the motor) into the gas pressure energy, and is the air pressure generating device for compressed air. We find that many customers have doubts about the selection of air compressor equipment. This time, we will talk about the main considerations of air compressor equipment:
1. Use of compressed air; The user must determine the purpose of the air compressor and the pneumatic equipment to be connected in the preset use before selecting the model.
2. Low service pressure; Determine the pneumatic equipment to be connected when the preset air compressor is used, and determine the low supply pressure of the actual demand air compressor based on the low service pressure of these pneumatic equipment.
3. Peak/average gas consumption and pressure; Considering the demand gas consumption and pressure of peak value and mean value in actual use; If the difference between high and low operating pressures reaches 3 3bar, "high and low pressure shunt" must be considered, and then different types of air compressors shall be selected according to the load changes of peak value and average value.
4. Design of post-processing equipment; Different types and grades of dryers and filters shall be selected and configured according to different gas quality. Too good gas quality will waste energy, and insufficient quality will affect the production process, which needs careful consideration.
5. Control technology of air compressor; The future is changing with each passing day. The existing technologies, such as "multi machine interlocking", "variable frequency and variable speed" and "remote monitoring", can restrain the BOV of centrifugal air compressor and the empty car waste of screw air compressor (save 25-40% of the electricity cost), reduce the capacity and investment of standby machine (15-30%), and stabilize the air supply pressure (plus or minus 0.1bar).
6. Actual operation efficiency; The operation efficiency can not only compare the nominal horsepower and air volume on the catalog, but also focus on the actual "performance curve" and "air volume per horse", which will help the overall equipment to operate stably during the actual application of the air compressor.
7. Equipment installation space and transportation placement problems; When installing, consider the size of the machine room space, ventilation conditions, noise isolation, waste heat, waste water recovery, etc. will affect the use of air compressor energy. In addition, the "centralized" air compressor room is better than the "distributed" air compressor room during installation, which can control and reduce the cost of equipment installation, maintenance and repair, as well as reduce unnecessary peripheral equipment. Individual post-processing equipment can be universal.
8. Cooling mode and potential input of air compressor; Now the air compressor mainly has two kinds of air cooling and water cooling. Air cooling does not require additional investment in the cooling pool, but requires good ventilation in the operating environment of the air compressor; The water cooling is not affected by the environment, which is relatively beneficial to the service life of the air compressor. However, the pipeline may be frozen, cracked and blocked if the maintenance is not timely in the cold season. It is necessary to consider the area of use and the problem of pipeline maintenance, and the water cooling is more expensive than the basic investment of air cooling.
9. Layout of equipment power supply lines; Before the installation of the equipment room, the power supply planning shall be done well. The voltage demand and voltage drop stability of all equipment must meet the standard. Centrifugal air compressors are usually high voltage and cannot be moved at all. They will impact the power grid when they are started. Independent power supply lines are required, and the number of starts and stops shall be reduced to maintain regular operation. Protective measures shall be taken at the power port.
10. Future maintenance space of the machine room; Proper maintenance space, lifting facilities and passageways shall be reserved for the maintenance of the machine room. The engineering personnel working here and the maintenance process shall have adequate training and standardized management.
